These boots have the modern design which makes them streamlined and sleek. The interior of these boots feature 400 grams of insulation along with the Omni-Heat® thermal reflective technology. This technology keeps the foot cozy and toasty by preventing the cold weather to enter the boots. This insulation also traps the body heat inside to boots to keep the interior warm. The upper has the pull on tab at the tongue which allows you to adjust the fit. The laces on the top enables easy and secure fastening for the snug and personalized fit. The collar has the strap on the top which enhances the secure fit and it also provides you protection from the debris. There is a push button on the top which enables the electric heating system inside these shoes. This system has the built in batteries which are rechargeable and there are three different settings for the temperature set. Great comfort - This boot was comfortable right out of the box. I had bought the higher version initially but found that the shaft was too large to fit comfortably under my pants. Though wearing them over your pants is an option. The lining is so soft and warm you definitely don't need socks and your feet really do not sweat. The only thing I don't like about them is the boot makes your foot look larger than it is. I wear a size 11 so I may be more self conscious about it than most people. But the comfort outweighs this in my opinion. Great for our winters in the NE!
