Columbia Drainmaker™ are the athletic shoes which have
been inspired from the water shoes to give you
stunning performance around the water. These shoes
have very lightweight construction as compare to
most of the athletic shoes available. They have
superb built quality just like any other style by
the Columbia. These shoes feature magnificent upper
which is made from the open cell sandwich mesh. This
upper is designed to allow stunning breathability to
always keep the interior fresh by allowing the fresh
air from outside to move it. This upper also
drainage so if you run through the stream, the water
will drain out quickly. The toe cap has been made
from the translucent TPU and the eye stays have been
made from the synthetic micro-suede which provides
additional durability. The heel cup is contoured and
it molds as per the shape of your heel giving your
customized fit. The midsole has been made from the
Techlite™ which is shocks absorbing and lightweight
material. This midsole also have the drainage ports
at the heel and at the forefoot which allow the
water to drain out quickly. This midsole provides
shocks absorption to take the comfort on the whole
new level. The outsole is made from the Omni-Grip®
rubber which has superb lugs to give you traction on
various types of surface no matter wet or dry. It
weighs just 8 ounces which is very lightweight for
the athletic shoe packed with so much comfort and

Great design and breath ability!!! This is an
extremely versatile shoe and it really works. I took
these shoes to Panama for hiking in the rain forest
and had a lovely time with them. I took these
because I wanted something which dries out very
quickly in humid environment and they were just
perfect for that. The foot bed of this shoe never
got soaking wet though I crossed the streams too.
they were comfortable ad supportive throughout the
trip. I hiked several miles in them. I really like
the support this shoe gives to my feet. They have
protected my toes from rocks and thorns as well. My
feet are wide and have bunions and they have treated
them really well. This wide size is not too wide and
sloppy like many other shoes available in market. It
is an all rounder shoe. I never forget taking these
on vacations. I have also gone for canoeing and for
fishing in these spectacular shoes. They don’t only
work good as a hiking shoe, but they also work
really well as a boat shoe as they offer great
traction when getting in the canoe for sure. I love
the fact that they dry much faster than the regular
tennis shoe. I won’t recommend these for beach
activities as I think they are not made to cater
that need of ours due to the drainage ports which
will cause the sand to come inside very easily. You
can take the sand out but who likes to get in to a
hassle. I also use these as a work shoe where I am
on my feet the whole day long. These shoes are super
comfy and cute as the same time. They definitely
worth the price so you should go for it. I also like
the fact that they are too light weight and I feel
like walking on the clouds when my feet are in
these. My original size is 10.5, but I usually order
size 11 because it is not hard to find. They offer
10.5 so I ordered it and they fit very well. They
are super comfy and incredibly light as mentioned
before so you can use these any where. I simply love
these shoes. I travel a lot and they offer a great
support. You can even wear these around town or use
them for hiking or boating like I do or even at
work. There comfort level is just like a slipper.
They also look feminine which is another positive
point as I don’t like wearing manly looking shoes. I
think that the picture and description don’t do
justice with this shoe as they look even more
beautiful than the picture. They are the best shoe I
have ever owned. I have these in purple color
because I found this color very funky and
attractive, but I wear the black one at work as
purple doesn’t look nice at work. I just rinse them
with soap and water and they look like a new one.
