Columbia Newton Ridge™ 2 are the long lasting and
eye-catching hiking boots which have been designed
to take excellent care of your foot on the tough and
hard terrain. These boots have the magnificent built
quality just like all other styles of the Columbia.
They have impressive traction to offer on the wet
and dry rough surfaces. The upper is made from the
leather which is waterproof and it has the high
abrasion overlays of the synthetic. The upper has
the excellent lacing system on the top along with
the metal hooks to allow secure, snug and customized
fit. The footbed has been made from the EVA which
absorbs shocks to deliver magnificent comfort. The
footbed is removable and it keeps your feet free
from fatigue. The midsole has been compression
molded from the EVA as well. This midsole multiplies
the comfort level and keeps you going without any
stress on your feet, legs or spine. The shank is
made from the nylon which provides great arch
support and torsional rigidity. The outsole has been
made from the lightweight and durable Omni-Grip™
rubber which is non-marking and low profile. This
outsole delivers superb traction and grip on the
rugged and tough trail to ensure stability and slip
free ride. It weighs 20 ounces as per size 9. You

Extremely LIGHT!! If you are looking for an ultra
light weight boot then this is the right one to
have. These boots fit true to size and they are even
great for the flat footed people like me. The
original shoe has a huge arch, but thank God it is
easily removable therefore I installed it with a pad
with no arch which is great. I like to wear plain
and simple things and this one is exactly what I was
looking for. These boots are simply and very
functional. They are very grippy and offer great
warmth to my feet. If any one is looking for a
perfect gift for your hubby or brother then this is
the right one to buy. Your love ones will like it a
lot as they are just perfect . It will keep your
feet warm and also very comfortable. The boot does
look a bit cheap many be because of the synthetic
overlay, but still I am very happy with them as they
are very functional and supportive. I was actually
looking for a replacement of my older shoe which was
not available, I kept on searching it and in the
main while I found these shoes. It is of great
quality and offer great comfort. Highly
