Columbia Talus Ridge™ Mid OutDry® are the combination
of athletic shoes and hiking boots. These boots pack
the properties of both styles to give you excellent
performance and mind-blowing comfort. These boots
have the top notch materials used in their
construction which makes these boots long lasting
and durable. These boots have the waterproof Outdry®
membrane used along with the low-profile support to
allow you to snowshoe, climb, scramble, jog and
hike. The upper is made from the combination of
textile and leather which is abrasion resistant. The
upper also has the welded TPU which enhances the
stability and locks down the foot securely. The
upper also features excellent lacing system which
allows you secure, customized and snug fastening for
your convenience. The footbed has been made from the
Techlite® which is lightweight material and it
provides great shocks absorption. This footbed
minimizes the stress on your spine and it delivers
unbelievable comfort. The outsole has been made from
the Omni-Grip® rubber which is durable and it has
the aggressive and very practical lugs which allow
you maximum tractions on the wet and dry surfaces
including slippery and wet rocks. It weighs 14

The smartest purchase- Upon first try-on, they felt a
bit snug- I wear an 8 1/2 and ordered the 8. But it
didn’t take long for these to become the pair of
shoes I put on most often. Warm feet make all the
difference in outdoor comfort. A little mink oil on
the leather part makes them very water resistant.
Good purchase- These are good looking, warm boots
that aren't too clunky. In retrospect, I probably
should have ordered a size larger since my right
foot is slightly larger than my left. Because of
that, I can see that these boots would rub a bit
where the leather meets the suede and I might want
to wear a thin sock with them. |
